Life Story for Virginia Lee Jester (Denny)
Mrs. Virginia Lee (Denny) Jester, age 82, of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on March 24, 1937, in Madison, Indiana, the loving daughter of the late, Charles Gaylord and Lillian N. (Vestal) Denny. She was raised in Rexville, Indiana where she attended school. At the young age of 16, Virginia was united in marriage on March 13, 1954, in Madison, Indiana, to the late, Charles Fredrick Jester. This happy union was blessed with a daughter, Tammy Jo and four sons, Charles Wayne, Denny, Johnny and Randy. Virginia and Charles shared 56 years of marriage together until Charles passed away on February 7, 2010. Virginia was employed as a home health nurse for King's Daughters Hospital in Madison, Indiana, for a few years. She was a member of the Long Run Baptist Church in Moorefield, Indiana and the Switzerland County Saddle Club. Virginia was a wonderful homemaker and farm wife and enjoyed cooking, fostering children and babysitting her grandchildren. Virginia passed away with her loving family by her side at 4:20 p.m., Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana.
Virginia will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Charles Wayne Jester of Madison, IN, Denny Jester of Madison, IN, Johnny "Turtle" Jester and his wife, Kelli of Madison, IN and Randy Jester and his wife, Mary of Vevay, IN; her grandchildren, Charles, Christy, Chastity, John Wilbur, Justin, Matt, Clint, Kati, Aaron and Nikki; her several great-grandchildren; her great-great-granddaughter and her several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Gaylord Denny, died in 1955 and Lillian N. (Vestal) Denny, died in 1999; her husband, Charles Frederick Jester, died February 7, 2010; her daughter, Tammy Jo Jester, died May 12, 2013; her grandson, Dana Gayle "Doodle" Jester, died June 9, 2015; her sister, Delta Cahall, died December 9, 1999 and her brother, Charles W. Denny, died December 30, 2015.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, March 31, 2019, at 1:00 p.m., by Rev. Ron Lee at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043.
Interment will follow in the Grandview Memorial Gardens, Madison, Indiana.
