Condolence From: Susan Catanzaro
Condolence: I will miss my dear Aunt Ida. Her home in Brooklyn was a second home to me growing up. She always had friends and family and an open door and more importantly, an open heart. She was a fabulous cook and was the neighborhood sage. She was extremely intelligent and she was always well-informed and well-read. No wonder both her sons, my cousins, were so smart and accomplished. I will miss this part of my extended family. My Uncle Gus was a most good hearted, easy going man who loved his immediate family and all his nieces and nephews. I still miss my cousin Peter, too. My hope is that these three wonderful souls are reunited. I am a better person for having had these dear, loving people in my life.
I do find comfort in knowing that a part of Uncle Gus and Aunt Ida's goodness lives on in my beautiful cousins: Anthony, Peggy, Matthew and James.

Condolence From: Jennifer Hatchett
Condolence: Ida was loved by all that knew her. We were fortunate to be friends with her and Gus for many, many years. One of the sweetest days was when Ida got to meet my grandmother, before she passed away in 2009. Ida- we will always love you and are comforted by the fact that you are with Peter and Gus once again. Peg, Tony, Matt & James- you are in our thoughts and prayers. We love you all and are here for you. With love, Ann, Bob, Jennifer and Stephanie
